Our Story
Founded In 2024, El Gato Negro is a nomadic dining experience & Armenian American pop-up by Chef Travis Matoesian. Travis is a LA native whose background in cooking spurs from some of the best kitchens in the city such as Bavel, Poltergeist, Funke, & more. His experience extends internationally, having achieved Verace certification at the AVPN in Napoli, Italy.
